Onward and Upward

Merry Xmas! I have been successfully opening Blogs, RSS feeds, and a Flickr account. Spent the holiday snapping pics and today uploading them, first to my hard drive, and then to my flickr account. Forgot my URL! Still having a hard time linking to my blog from an outside terminal though.
Have also set up a LISTSERV account with a Habsburg history discussion list to kick-start my research links. All in all, it has been a very fruitful couple of days!

The learning curve continues. Web 2.0 class teaching about RSS feeds and am experimenting with those. Got some good hits on library oriented stuff. Have a feeling my history stuff is going to be via discussion forums of a different sort.

futzing around

had to change my name. my other choices were already taken. at least this one I know is unique.
when i was born the hospital mis-spelled my name and this is what they put on my tag!
